We stayed in the squirrel cabin which is very basic. We don't have a camper, so it's nice that they have these so we can join our friends when they camp. The staff are very friendly and they keep the resort super clean including the washrooms! It is a perfect spot for a families as there's a huge playground and a Beach area for the kids! The lake is perfect for all the water things including fishing and kayaking. My only wish is that a window opened in the little cabin to get some air flow.

We booked a camp spot here for a week in July and it was absolutely perfect! The location is amazing, amenities are plenty and I was especially thankful for the hot showers! This is the cleanest campground I’ve ever been to, with super friendly staff who work hard to keep things looking and running smoothly! We especially loved our waffle breakfast in the mornings …..as I did not bring cookware due to the nature of our stay . The lake was pristine and although I heard some complaining about the loons…..I absolutely loved falling asleep to the sound of them late at night! We look forward to booking again next year and hope to stay in a cabin that time! See you soon Ashley and Daniel - GreenBearJunkRemoval

Had a great day out on the lake. Boat was fueled up and ready to go and super clean! Came back after a long day of fishing to fresh made coffee in the lodge. Super polite staff helping us with our boat and life jackets. Overall great experience we will be back for many many more family outings. Would recommend

Beautiful resort/ campground. The site was spacious and had a nice amount of trees. The campground is beautiful, and has excellent amenities. The fenced dog park was such a nice surprise. The road to get there is a little dodgey, but totally worth it once you arrive. We definitely plan to visit again, and maybe stay in a cabin next time!

Great lake and property for fishing and families. Very good amenities making it a very comfortable experience. Make sure you add extra time for travel, the road up is rough for a significant portion. Rentals for boats, kayaks and other watercraft, which you will want to take advantage of to properly explore the lake. Sectioned off beach for kids is great too. Check out some of the trails including the lookout, easy walking. Some tougher trails too.

We stayed in Cabin #12 Elk Cabin, and this is our second year. It is a nice place to relax and have fun away from the city noise. We will come back for sure.

Stayed here for first time in August 2020. Owner/operators are super friendly. No concerns with our reservation, all was good to go when we checked in. Shower house is always kept very clean. Beach area is good, although we did not use it. Always lots of kids in the water. Campsite we stayed in was probably one that offered most privacy. Most sites are fairly close together, and found ground in site to be a bit uneven. Lots of tree roots and ruts. Gravel road in resort area is quite rough with lots of deep pot holes and ruts. Road up there from Lake Country is quite rough as well. And it's a steep climb up if you are pulling a trailer. However, after you are there it is worth the trip. Very good spot. Our friends stayed in one of the lake front cabins. Very rustic, but you can't beat having your own dock to go and sit on and enjoy the weather.

Just an amazing place. We stayed 2 nights. The cabin was very clean and well-equipped with its own dock and a bbq in the patio. The lake is pristine and quiet - just what we wanted to get away from the city. Also, I had a massage session at their wellness centre with Danielle. She was very intuitive and helped me understand the deeper and emotional issue - highly recommended! The road was not so bad as we thought. We will definitely be back!

This is our seventh time at Beaver Lake Resort, and it’s definitely a comfort vacation for us. The lake is beautiful, it’s quiet & peaceful, the cabins are rustic & cozy, and the staff really take care to maintain the property! A family dream: the kids are busy & happy, playing in the lake, catching frogs, playing at the playground, fishing, popsicles at the lodge- it’s what summer memories are made of. We’ve tented in years past, but now choose a cabin for the little comforts like a kitchen, beds, and bathroom! :)

This was our first time at Beaver Lake Resort. We enjoyed our weekend so much that we will be coming back! The campsites (ours was #38) are spacious and very clean and not far from any of the amenities! Thank you for hosting us.
